JACKSON’S CORNER

”Maple Blossoms” ~ We take walks at night, with the changing phases of the moon, on warm nights and cool nights, on dew dripping mornings as the sun rises. Our cats, one petite black and one lion gold, walk the periphery of the sidewalks, mewing when we’ve gone too far ahead. They know all the other cats, they say hello to the deer families and their fawns. Sometimes we have go out the front gate and run, if we want to go to the river, so the cats don’t follow us…they can only go so far and we live near a residential highway.
The Maples, the Hawthorne, the Linden; they fill the street with green glory, and then the sky opens and the chill comes. Maple Blossoms, yellow green, fresh start to the Spring.
